Damiano Gasperini received his Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Automation Engineering in 2020, and his Master's Degree in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering in 2023, both with honours, from La Sapienza - University of Rome. He carried out part of his Master Thesis at the Space Robotics Laboratory (SRL), Tohoku University, Japan. Currently, his PhD research is related to cognitive robotics and aims to combine principles and technologies from robotics, artificial intelligence, cognitive sciences and neuroscience to create robots capable of perceiving, reasoning, learning, and acting autonomously in unknown and dynamic environments.
